ParrAPI platform is designed and maintained by the Seychelles Tourism Department (hereafter the Tourism Department or ‘we’), which is responsible for most aspects surrounding the tourism industry of Seychelles, including the promotion of the country as a holiday destination.
Contacting Us
The Tourism Department respects the privacy of seychelles.com users and any personal information supplied upon your contacting the Tourism Department or the webmaster is deemed confidential. Your information will not be sent to third parties unless your query specifically or inherently requests the Tourism Department to do so.
Our Mailing List
When browsing seychelles.com you will occasionally be presented with the opportunity to sign up for the Tourism Department's mailing list. This mailing list provides subscribers with useful information about tourism and promotional offers from different companies and organizations.
If you have signed up and no longer wish to receive this type of information, and/or have accidentally subscribed to the mailing list, please contact the Tourism Department by email at [email protected] in order to request your details be removed from the relevant mailing lists.
Competitions and Surveys
On occasions the Tourism Department may run competitions on seychelles.com. Upon entering, applicants may be asked for personal information such as their name, postal and email address.
In addition applicants may also be asked to answer to survey questions relating to a range of other personal data that may include income, age, interests and previous holiday destinations, among other information.
Personal information submitted by applicants may be used by the Tourism Department or the competition sponsor to contact competition winners and for marketing purposes, provided the applicant has given their consent upon submitting their competition entry.
Prices and offers are the responsibility of the third party promoter concerned and the Tourism Department accepts no liability for the accuracy and completeness of the stated information.
Opting Out
You have the right to request that your personal information is removed from our records at any time. The Tourism Department undertakes to act upon any such request and remove all such data from its records within 30 days. To opt out, send an email to [email protected] and write ‘opt out’ in the subject line.
